Ramadan always falls on to in same day every year on the Hijri or Islamic calendar. The Hirji calendar is purely a lunar calendar, the date change happens in the Gregorian calendar. So every year Ramadan moves approximately 11 days in the Gregorian calendar.

In 2016, the proposed date for Ramadan is on 6 June, but it can change by one day as it depends on the sighting of the moon.
