Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk or 750 ml
  • 1 tin NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ½ cup sugar or 110 g
  • 1½ tablespoons corn flour, diluted with 4 tablespoons of water
  • 1 cup mixed dried fruit or 100 g
  • ½ cup raisins or 50 g
  • ½ cup hazelnuts or 75 g, roasted and crushed

Preparation

In a casserole, mix milk with NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk and bring to a boil then remove and set aside.

Meanwhile beat eggs with egg yolks, sugar and corn flour for 3 minutes.

Pour the hot milk mixture gradually to the egg mixture and continue stirring constantly.

Return the mixture to the casserole on low heat, stirring for 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce thickens making sure the sauce doesn’t boil.

Remove mixture from heat and mix in the dried fruits, raisins and hazelnuts.

Pour the mixture into small glass bowls, and chill.
