Ingredients
¾ cup plain flour or 100 g
1¼ cups desiccated coconut or 125 g
¼ cup brown sugar or 50 g
½ cup butter or 100 g, softened
2 tablespoons desiccated coconut, extra quantity
mocha topping:
2 teaspoons NESCAFÉ Instant Coffee, dissolved in 1 tablespoon of hot water
1 tin NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
100 g milk chocolate, grated
¼ cup butter or 50 g
Preparation
Combine flour, coconut and sugar in a bowl. Rub in the butter then press into a 28cm x 20cm shallow cake tin.
Bake in a 170ºC preheated oven for 15 minutes or until light brown in color. Remove from oven and set aside.
Combine NESCAFÉ Instant Coffee, NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk , chocolate and butter in a saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
Pour mocha topping over the tin, sprinkle with extra coconut over the topping. Cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate for 4 hours before cutting into slices.
