150 g lean minced beef
1 medium tomato or 150 g, peeled and chopped
5½ cups water or 1375 ml
1 small cinnamon stick
1/3 cup frike or 50 g, washed
1 sachet MAGGI® 11 Vegetables Soup
pinch of ground black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Shape the beef balls into small balls (season with some salt and black pepper) and place in an oven tray and bake in a 170˚C preheated oven for 10 minutes or until they are cooked.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, place the water, cinnamon stick, frike and the tomato and bring to boil with occasional stirring. Simmer for 20 minutes or until frike is cooked.
Add MAGGI® 11 Vegetables Soup and the cooked meat balls and simmer for another 10 minutes. Stir in black pepper and chopped parsley and serve.
