HOW TO PREPARE Cashew Nuts and Figs Jam Rolls Recipe

Roll out the pastry sheets and cut them into 12cm x 23cm sheets.

Spread figs jam evenly over pastry leaving 1cm of the edges plain.

In a bowl, beat butter and NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk until creamy. Beat in egg yolks, cashew nuts, flour and grated coconut. Mix well until a homogenous mixture is formed.

Spread mixture evenly over jam, brush edges of pastry with egg white.

Roll up pastry sheets to form rolls that similar to Swiss rolls.

Place rolls on a greased oven tray. Brush with egg whites and bake in a 220°C oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden.
