Heat oil in a large pot, fry chicken pieces till they adopt a slight color. Remove and set aside.
In the same pot, add the onions, garlic and fry for 4 minutes.
Add water, frike, cinnamon, black pepper and MAGGI Chicken Stock cubes. Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
Return the chicken pieces to the pot, and cook for another 40 minutes or until the chicken and frike are well-cooked cooked.
