HOW TO PREPARE Delicious Lemon Cake Recipe

Preheat oven to 180°C. Brush a deep 23cm fluted ring tin with melted butter or oil.

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl of an electric mixer.

Beat the ingredients on slow speed until they combine. Then beat them on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and changes in color.

Pour and spread mixture into the prepared pan. Bake in the oven for 50-55 minutes. Or until skewer comes out clean when inserted in the center.

Leave cake in tin for 5 minutes before turning it onto a wire rack to cool.

If desired, dust cake when it cools with sifted icing sugar.
