Ingredients 10 items

  • 50 g toasted flaked almonds
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g caster sugar
  • 1 tin Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 250 g unsalted butter
  • 250 g melted dark chocolate
  • 70 g or ½ cup plain flour
  • 1 cup almond powder or 100 g
  • 75 g cocoa powder
  • 50 g flaked almonds

How to prepare

  1. Grease a 22cm x 26cm rectangular oven tray.
  2. Combine eggs and sugar in a bowl and mix using an electric mixer for 2 minutes on low speed then for 3 minutes on medium speed or until mixture is very smooth.
  3. Add Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk, melted butter, and melted chocolate and mix; add flour, almond powder, and cacao powder, and mix well until the mixture becomes very smooth. Add almond flakes and stir.
  4. Pour mixture over a prepared oven tray, and bake in preheated oven at 175˚C for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer when inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  5. Set aside to cool. Slice and serve.
