Ingredients 9 items

  • 4 cups water or 1000 ml
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground caraway
  • 1 tablespoon anise powder
  • 1.5 cups caster sugar or 300 g
  • 1 cup rice powder or 90 g
  • 2 tablespoons rose water
  • 0.5 cup ground pistachio nuts or 50 g
  • 2 tins Nestlé® Cream or 340 g

How to prepare

  1. Add the water, cinnamon, caraway, anise, sugar and rice powder in a large saucepan and bring to a boil with constant stirring.
  2. Pour the mughli in individual cups or in a large platter and set aside to cool.
  3. Mix the ground pistachio and Nestlé® Cream until well combined. Then pour over the cooled mughli mixture and place in the fridge until serving time.
No need to reserve this delightful and original Mughli with cream and pistachio for special occasions! Prepare it in the morning and serve it as an afternoon snack any day you like. For more nutrients, top it with sliced strawberries and pistachios...yummy!
