  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil, or vegetable oil
  • 2 medium Onions or 300 g, sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • ½ kg minced beef
  • 1½ tablespoons Plain flour
  • 3 cubes MAGGI Chicken Stock
  • 5½ cups water or 1375 ml
  • ½ kg artichoke hearts, frozen, cut each into 4 pieces
  • 1 medium Carrot or 150 g, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 1 medium Potato or 250 g, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup canned green peas or 200 g
  • ½ cup black olives or 75 g, pitted
  • ½ cup lemon juice or 125 ml
  • Energy 485 Kcal
  • Protein 35 g
  • Carbohydrate 36 g
  • Fats 27 g

Heat the oil in a pot, add the onions and sauté for 5 minutes.

Add garlic and minced meat. Cook until the meat is golden brown.

Add flour, Maggi Chicken Stock cubes and mix well.

Add water, artichokes, carrots and potatoes. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.

Add green peas, black olives, lemon juice and cook for further 2 minutes.

Remove stew from heat and serve with white rice.
