  • 1½ cups butter or 350 g
  • ¾ cup sugar or 200 g
  • 1¼ tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 tin NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 2½ cups plain flour or 350 g
  • 1½ tablespoons baking powder
  • 200 g dried apricots
  • 200 g Prunes dried

How to prepare

  1. Using a mixer with paddle, combine the butter, sugar and vanilla essence and whip for 10 minutes until creamy. Add the eggs one by one to the mixture while whipping. Add the NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk after that and mix with a spatula.
  2. Sift the flour and baking powder and add them to the mixture along with the dried fruits, and mix to form dough.
  3. Pour the dough in a greased and floured non-stick rectangular mold until ¾ filled, and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 30 minutes until the surface is brownish. Keep aside to cool for a minimum of 10 minutes and then remove from the mold and leave at room temperature.
