  • 3½ tablespoons butter or 50 g
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup or 50 g
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tin Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 2 cups rolled oats or 200 g
  • 1 cup bran flakes or 60 g
  • 1 cup cranberries or 150 g, dried (or dried rasins)
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut or 75 g
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds or 75 g

How to prepare

  1. Melt butter and golden syrup together in a small saucepan. Add the baking soda and then stir in the NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk. Combine all the remaining ingredients together in a large bowl, pour over the melted ingredients and mix well.
  2. Turn into a well greased 20cm × 30cm Swiss roll tin lined with baking paper. Press down well and smooth with the back of a spoon.
  3. Bake in a 180 °C preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cut when cold in rectangular pieces. Store in an air tight container.
