  • 130 g butter or 2/3 cup
  • 100 g caster sugar or ½ cup
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1.5 cups or 210 g sifted plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tin Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 3 tablespoons sifted cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons raisins
  • 0.5 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or 75 g
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1.5 cups ground almonds or 150 g
  • 1 egg

How to prepare

  1. Beat the butter and caster sugar for 5 minutes until creamy, then add the egg yolk and beat well.
  2. Add the flour and baking powder into the mixture and mix well. Spread into a base of a 28cm x 24cm baking tin lined with baking paper. Bake for 10 minutes in 180°C preheated oven then remove and set aside.
  3. Combine Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk and the sifted cocoa powder and stir until well combined. Add raisins, chocolate chips, vanilla, ground almonds and egg; Mix well and pour over the prepared base.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes in 180°C preheated oven. Remove from oven and set to cool.
  5. Cut into small slices and serve.
