  • ¾ cup plain flour or 100 g
  • 1¼ cups desiccated coconut or 125 g
  • ¼ cup brown sugar or 50 g
  • ½ cup butter or 100 g, softened
  • 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut, extra quantity
  • Mocha topping:
  • 2 teaspoons NESCAFÉ Instant Coffee, dissolved in 1 tablespoon of hot water
  • 1 tin Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 100 g milk chocolate, grated
  • ¼ cup butter or 50 g

How to prepare

  1. Combine flour, coconut and sugar in a bowl. Rub in the butter then press into a 28cm x 20cm shallow cake tin.
  2. Bake in a 170ºC preheated oven for 15 minutes or until light brown in color. Remove from oven and set aside.
  3. Combine NESCAFÉ Instant Coffee, NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk, chocolate and butter in a saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour mocha topping over the tin, sprinkle with extra coconut over the topping. Cool to room temperature.
  5. Refrigerate for 4 hours before cutting into slices.
