  • 1 tin NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • ½ cup sugar or 100 g
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup tahina or 125 ml
  • 1 cup ground almonds or 100 g
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted

How to prepare

  1. Place NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk, sugar and butter in a nonstick saucepan, cook and keep stirring over low heat for 5-6 minutes or until the caramel is pale golden and thick.
  2. Add with constant stirring the tahina (reserve 1 tablespoon), ground almond and cardamom until all are well combined and forming soft dough.
  3. Grease 20x25 cm oven tray with the remaining 1 tablespoon tahina and pour the mixture over and flatten evenly.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Cool into a room temperature then place in the fridge.
  5. Cut into squares and serve.
