  • 100 g or ½ cup caster sugar
  • 75 g or ½ cup almonds chopped and toasted
  • 1 tin Nestlé® Cream or 170 g
  • 2 cups liquid cream or 500 ml
  • 100 g or ½ cup caster sugar , additional quantity
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup tea biscuits or 100 g, broken into small pieces
  • 1 cup strawberries or 200 g, trimmed and cut into slices

How to prepare

  1. Add sugar to a medium saucepan, stir over medium heat for few minutes or until sugar becomes caramel. Add the almond and stir with the caramel. Remove from heat and spoon over a greased plastic tray and set aside to cool to room temperature. When almond caramel cools, crush in a plastic bag or in a food processor.
  2. Combine Nestlé® Cream, fresh liquid cream, additional sugar and vanilla essence and whisk for 5-6 minutes or until mixture is stiff.
  3. Use a large metal spoon to fold the prepared cream with biscuits and strawberries. Spoon the cream mixture in an individual cup halfway and sprinkle with the crushed caramelized almonds then another layer of cream mixture and topped with the caramelized almond.
  4. Place in the fridge until the serving time.
