Ingredients 8 items

  • 1/3 cup egyptian rice or 65 g
  • 1 tin Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1½ cups whipping cream or 375 ml, liquid
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup water or 250 ml
  • 1 teaspoon NESCAFÉ Instant Coffee
  • ¼ cup sultanas or 40 g

How to prepare

  1. In a pot, boil rice with a liter of boiling water for 12 to14 minutes until rice is well cooked. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, stir together NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk, vanilla powder, liquid cream, eggs, water, NESCAFÉ Instant Coffee and sultanas, then add the cooked rice.
  3. Pour liquid mixture into ovenproof baking cups. Place cups in a roasting pan which has enough hot water to come halfway up the side of the cups.
  4. Bake in a 160°C oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
  5. Serve cold.
