  • For the cream stuffing:
  • 2 tins Nestlé® Cream or 340 g
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon melted ghee
  • 2 tablespoons blossom water
  • 3 tablespoons corn flour
  • For the mafruka dough:
  • 4 cups unsalted cashew nuts or 600 g ground
  • 1 cup caster sugar or 200 g
  • 3 tablespoons rose water
  • 3 tablespoons water

How to prepare

  1. Mix in a saucepan Nestlé® Cream, water, ghee, blossom water and corn flour. Simmer with constant stirring until it thickens, then pour in a large dish and set aside to cool at room temperature.
  2. Place ground cashew nuts, sugar, rose water and water in a bowl and mix well to form dough.
  3. Take a small piece of cashew nuts dough and flatten with your hands and place a teaspoon of the cooled cream stuffing. Close carefully to form a ball.
  4. Press the stuffed dough into a wooden maamoul mold to form a pattern on the upper side of the dough.
