Ingredients 12 items

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion or 70 g, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 medium tomato or 150 g, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 5 cups water or 1250 ml
  • 1 tin canned chickpeas or 400 g, drained
  • 1 sachet MAGGI Oat Chicken Soup
  • 0.58 g ground cumin
  • 0.58 g ground turmeric
  • 0.58 g ground black pepper

How to prepare

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan, sauté onions for 2 minutes then add parsley, coriander, and stir.
  2. Add tomato, tomato paste, water, chickpeas, and MAGGI Oat Chicken Soup. Season with spices, bring to boil and simmer uncovered with occasional stirring for 10 minutes and serve.
