  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger chopped
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 6 cups or 1500 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 sachet MAGGI 11 Vegetables Soup
  • 400 g peeled prawns medium size, cleaned
  • 120 g egg Noodles
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced spring onions

How to prepare

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan, add and cook ginger and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add water, and MAGGI 11 Vegetables Soup. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
  3. Add prawns and noodles. Bring to a boil and simmer for another 5 minutes or until prawns and noodles are cooked.
  4. Garnish with spring onion and serve immediately.
Low in fat and so rich in flavor, you can easily serve this soup as a main dish! Not only that, but it's rich in protein and carbohydrates, as well as beneficial plant compounds from the ginger, garlic and spring onions. Just remember to serve with it a salad of your choice for more vitamins, minerals and healthy fiber!
