  • 1 medium tomato or 150 g, peeled and chopped
  • 5.5 cups or 1375 ml of water
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 50 g Frike
  • 1 sachet MAGGI 11 Vegetables Soup
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Energy 119 Kcal
  • Protein 6.6 g
  • Carbohydrate 13 g

Shape the beef balls into small balls (season with some salt and black pepper) and place in an oven tray and bake in a 170˚C preheated oven for 10 minutes or until they are cooked.

Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, place the water, cinnamon stick, frike and the tomato and bring to boil with occasional stirring. Simmer for 20 minutes or until frike is cooked.

Add MAGGI 11 Vegetables Soup and the cooked meat balls and simmer for another 10 minutes. Stir in black pepper and chopped parsley and serve.
