  • 3 cups Basmati rice
  • 6 cups Water
  • 1 tin NESTLÉ Fat Free Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Cashew nut, unsalted
  • 1 cup Raisin
  • 1 tablespoon ground cardamom

How to prepare

  1. Wash the rice well and soak it for half an hour in enough water to fully cover it.
  2. In a medium saucepan combine water and washed rice and bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is soft about 25 min.
  3. Add Nestle Fat Free Sweetened Condensed Milk and stir over medium-low heat for 30 minutes or until thickens. Add the cashew nuts, raisins, and cardamom powder, and cook for a few more minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving.
