Ingredients 12 items

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions or 300 g cut into thin slices
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili pepper
  • 1½ kg chicken cut into pieces
  • 3 medium tomatoes or 450 g, mashed
  • 1 cup or 250 ml water
  • 2 cubes MAGGI Chicken Stock
  • 1 cup Nestlé Cream
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves

How to prepare

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan, cook onions for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown. Add all the spices and stir for 1 minute.
  2. Add chicken pieces and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add tomato puree, water and MAGGI Chicken Stock cubes. Cover and cook on low heat for 30-35 minutes or until the chicken is well done.
  3. Add Nestlé Cream and mix thoroughly. Cook for 5-6 minutes then stir in fresh coriander and serve.
