HOW TO PREPARE

Add water, sugar, lemon zest, vanilla essence and saffron in a large saucepan. Bring to boil and stir until sugar dissolves.

Reduce heat then add the pears to the pan, cover and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes or until they become tender. Carefully remove the pears and place them on a serving dish.

Add the Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk to the saffron syrup and boil over medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until the sauce reduces and thickens slightly.

Spoon sauce over the pears and serve.
