  • 2 cups skimmed milk
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, mild
  • 1 cup frozen spinach
  • 1 sachet MAGGI Idea of the Day Béchamel Mix
  • 12 large Crepe

How to prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C, and place the rack in the middle position
  2. Prepare Béchamel sauce by combining 1 sachet MAGGI® Béchamel Mix and skimmed milk in a saucepan, and cook until thick for about 5 minutes, and then set aside
  3. Place one crepe on the bottom and sprinkle with 1 tbs of cheese. Place another crepe on top and spread about 3 tbs of prepared Béchamel sauce over the top, sprinkle with more cheese and 1 tbs of drained spinach. Repeat until all the crepes, sauce and spinach are finished, reserving 3-4 tbs of cheese for the top.
  4. Gently place in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly golden on top
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving
