Ingredients 9 items

  • For the dough:
  • 2 cups or 420 g melted ghee
  • 2 cups or 280 g icing sugar
  • 4 cups or 560 g plain flour
  • 2 cups or 300 g coarsely chopped pistachio nuts
  • For the filling:
  • 3 cups or 450 g pistachio nuts
  • 1 tin Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
  • 1 teaspoon blossom water

How to prepare

  1. In a bowl, combine ghee, icing sugar and mix until well combined. Add flour and mix all the ingredients well to form sticky dough. Set in the fridge to firm little.
  2. For the filling:Mix ground pistachio, Nestlé® Sweetened Condensed Milk, and blossom water until all ingredients are well combined. Cover mixture and keep in the fridge to firm enough, and then divide the filling into small balls.
  3. Divide also the dough into small balls and stuff it with the filling balls.
  4. Roll the filled dough balls in chopped pistachio, place them inside a muffin holes and press gently.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 125°C for 12-15 minutes or until is dry.
