  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ kg lamb fillets cut into thin slices
  • 1 medium onion or 125 g, cut into slices
  • ½ cup mushrooms or 50 g, sliced
  • 1 small green bell pepper cut into long, thin slices
  • 1 small red bell pepper cut into long, thin slices
  • 2 cubes Maggi Chicken Stock dissolved in ½ cup or 125 ml of boiling water
  • 1 large tomato or 200 g, peeled and diced
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 long bread rolls
  • 1½ cups or 150 g grated cheddar cheese

How to prepare

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the lamb fillet and fry for 6-7 minutes or until it becomes golden brown. Add the onions and sauté for another 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms, sweet bell pepper, dissolved MAGGI Chicken Stock cubes, tomatoes and black pepper. Stir and boil for 5 minutes or until vegetables become tender.
  2. Spoon the lamb mixture on the opened long roll bread and sprinkle the top with the grated cheese. Place in preheated oven of 200°C for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
