Ingredients 8 items

  • 3 large Bananas
  • 1 tin NESTLÉ Fat Free Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 75g butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 2.3 cups Plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda

How to prepare

  1. Place the mashed banana, NESTLÉ Fat Free Sweetened Condensed Milk, butter, egg and vanilla in a large bowl and beat to combine. Mix in the combined flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  2. Pour the mixture into a 10cmx30cm non stick loaf tin loaf tin, lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake in a 170°C preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a cake skewer inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean. Remove from the oven and set aside for 10 minutes. Turn onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Breakfast on the run? Have one piece of this tasty and light banana bread with your usual glass of milk or a pot of low fat fruit-flavored yogurt! For extra nutrition, you can add a handful of chopped or ground walnuts before baking.
