Ingredients 10 items

  • 1.75 cups butter
  • 0.75 cup orange juice
  • 5.5 cups Cake flour
  • 1.25 tablespoons Baking powder
  • 1 tin NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 4 Egg yolks
  • For the pistachio filling:
  • 1 cup Pistachio nut
  • 2 teaspoons Rose water
  • 1 tablespoon Pistachio Paste

How to prepare

  1. In a mixer bowl with paddle, mix the butter until soft and then pour the orange juice. Sieve the flour and baking powder and combine them with the butter and juice to form dough.
  2. Add gradually the NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk and the egg yolks into the dough and mix to obtain a smooth mixture. Keep in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the pistachio filling by mixing all its ingredients together to obtain a crumbly mixture.
  4. Take medium sized pieces of the dough and form each portion into a 50g ball.
  5. Make a space in the center of each ball by pushing your finger through from one end; stuff it with the pistachio filling and close it by pressing firmly.
  6. Bake them in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 12 minutes until golden in color. Keep aside to cool down and serve.
